Full Day Cape Point Tour – Cape Town

Allow us to take you on a scenic journey along the Atlantic Seaboard to the most South Westerly point of South Africa – also known as Cape Point around the Cape Peninsula.

If open, you will travel along the Chapman’s Peak motorway towards Cape Point.

Leaving the Mother City (Cape Town), you will drive through majestic seaside suburbs such as Sea Point, Bakoven, Clifton, Bantry Bay and Camps Bay with its amazing views of the 12 Apostles en-route to Hout Bay where you will have the opportunity to go on an optional boat to Seal Island (for your own account) or shop for souvenirs at the craft market at the harbour.

You also have the option to enjoy lunch at the restaurant with views of False Bay.

At Cape Point (located within the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve) you will have the option to take the funicular (funicular ride for own account) to the beautiful lighthouse of Cape Point.

En-route you will actually be able to see both the Indian and Atlantic Oceans.

You will drive through the naval town of Simonstown with its rich navy history.

Before returning to your hotel you will get the opportunity to visit the African Penguins at Boulders Beach – where penguins have the right of way.

On the way to your hotel we will stop at the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens for a short visit.

Please note:
We cannot guarantee any specific animal sightings or interactions with animals on the half day Cape Point Tour.
The Cape Point Tours are extremely popular so advanced bookings are strongly advised throughout the year, but especially between the months of September to April.
