The Cape Town suburbs have become famous for its mouth-watering Food Markets on Saturday’s.

With this tour you can experience a typical food market at the Oranjezicht City Farm Market.

It is at this food market where small local farmers and artisanal food producers link urban farming with Cape Town’s history and heritage, using seasonal produce.

At the food markets you can mingle with locals whilst they do their weekly shopping (vegetables, fruit, bread, honey) and try out some delicious cooked and raw foods (for your own account).

From here we will continue to the Good Company Farmers Market at the Company’s Garden (South Africa’s oldest garden created in 1652 to grow vegetables).
